![]() I'll try to explain my findings: 1) After a fresh install of Vista or W7 RC1, the scroll wheel does not behave correctly in these apps. I never had this issue with any mouse in Windows XP. ![]() Note : This does not happen with my old optical mouse. Im having this issue too, here are my findings so far, this is really killing my user experience in Vista (and Windows 7 RC1)!! I have a Microsoft Ergonomic Laser Mouse 7000 with the latest Vista & Windows 7 intellipoint drivers. However, this is obviously a bug, which is really anoying to users. I love the scroll sensitivity available to customize, so using the mouse with programs which work fine is really worth being annoyed while scroll does not work. Mouse scroll behaves either the way described in the original post or doesn't work at all in these programs. and others (I've seen at least 5 more programs) Opera (I don't use it, but I've heard about the problem) Eclipse (text editor, trees and lists which are default windows controls work fine) Not only with winamp and google earth, but lots of other programs! Mostly those that have custom scrollbars (not windows default scrollable controls). ![]() Except for users, I guess, who bought this mouse for using with Google Earth only. The scroll wheel problem has been fixed with Google Earth.
